Description

Commission 10.

I had a blast with the detail and range of depth in this one. Combine it with a trio of adorable characters, and I think it's easy to see I had a good time up there.

Before I begin my critique, I have to say that I really do love the coloring and the scene overall. Its incredibly cute, and all the characters have a unique "feel" about them.

To start off, your vision of this piece is great you drew out the scene very well. With the gears and the mechanical parts everywhere, I feel that I'm looking in a work in progress mega super rocket blimp! (hehehe). I feel that I'm in a city in the hills or in the sky, where the inhabitants make super rockets (blimps) to travel, trade, have blimp battles, etc. The characters as I said, have a "feel" to them. The cat, which sorrta reminds me of the cheshire cat, has the "I'm the super smart cat with OCD, about my blimp" or aka "inventor" feel. The fox (I think its a fox), has the "I'm just here to give moral support" feel. And the rabbit... well the rabbit is the person that keeps the OCD cat on task and make sure she/he doesnt go to crazy... aka "assistant" Thats how I see it though, someone might see it completely differently.

The originality of this piece is pretty awesome. We got some furries making some blimps and well... Thats pretty original to extent. I usually don't see furries being used to do this. (A good 70% of the time its something like pinups or something of that sort) You defiantly captured the originality of this piece.

Technique as far as I can tell is done very well. The posture, setting, characters, and idea, is pretty solid. Overall nothing to scoff at. I really like the colors you used they are somewhat warm, but mostly neutral giving the picture a "homey" feel to me.

Honestly the impact to me wasn't ZOMG. But I defiantly smiled when I saw this piece of art.

Great job overall in all aspects. The vision, originality, and technique are all there. The impact, for me though, is ok but since I'm not someone who is neutral about furries this piece doesnt make me feel... idk... furry? :3

P.S Sorrta tired so if some of this critique doesn't make sense this is the simplified version.
Good Vision, I can clearly see your thought process throughout the piece. I like the setting since its sorrta steampunk, with a mix of nice colors. Technique is good, same with originality. Impact, for me, may be low, but thats just me since I dont dislike/like furries.
Also I'm not very experienced in the furry crowd so if I said something wrong in some way I apologize now.
