When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I'm still pleased with how the value contrast and lighting came out on this one... And the setting, of course. Adding a reflection onto a totally blank surface has the double advantages of being stunningly easy, and actually looking pretty cool. ...And being stunningly easy. Reminds me of my vague desire to have a house someday with a top-floor room sporting a glass ceiling and mirror floor. While the chains make more sense to me crossing behind the wings instead of in front, and piercing the wings around the lesser coverts (where the arm muscles would be hiding, if I'm correct) instead of the outer feathers, this drawing is still pretty good.

As yes the piercings would be better placed on the the actual muscles.
