Happy Halloween! Artwork promoting the 2007 DreamKeepers Fanart contest.... Anyone interested the deadline is OCtober 29th, 2007! Lots of prizes this year - actually, every entry gets at least a sticker, kind of a trick - or treat thing - see the website for details!

Anyways, that aside, I really like how this picture came out. I love spooky lighting, and purple pumpkins are of course a must.... Plus I think this picture does a good job of contrasting the creepy and cartoony sides of DreamKeepers.

The atmosphere is not that serious , all the creatures and monsters and ghosts are cute-cute one. :heart: Hehe, I especially like the skull on the ground. :XD: nice coloring and atmosphere control. :clap:

Thank you! I think the lighting scheme helped with the atmosphere more than anything else in there... Just making some things dim really helped, the original colors without lighting looked so flat.

Oh, thank you! Darker pictures can be challenging, but there's a lot of fun opportunity for lighting effects, too. Lights and effects tend to stand out better when in a dim setting. 8 )
